    I actually took the time to learn how to count cards at black jack only to find out that when it was time to try it at the casino they use more then one deck and shuffle the cards at random intervals. Greedy fucks just wont let you have any edge.

  2. 8bobthebuilder says:

    @richter85 and most importantly, the dealer gets to act After you, which is a HUGE advantage.

    i dealt at indian casino’s and now on the strip. without card counting you have a 49-49.5% of winning. when you count cards you add your percentage to 51-52.5% chances of winning. it does give you the slightest margin but most people who do this, HAVE HUGE BANKROLLS. you can’t do this unless in you are in the long run. and by that time, you’ll get banned from 21 at casino

    i 2nd bullshit on 20 aces . dumb lairs

  5. Cougman1978 says:

    That’s why I always lost at 21 game to dealer.

    @pimpmyride666 ,I know the casino with very weak shuffle, not bad rules( 6 decks, penetration 3/6, tripple, surrender on muliple cards). I can cut parts that will be -10 ( ten aces and ten’s) . need investment about 50 000$, to play 500$ when advantage will be so high.

    Your odds of winning in this game are very low, even with “card counting” and “card tracking.” So players should know they have a high chance of losing and need to quit bitching when they do lose, which they will. Also try to respect the dealer, I’m sure you wouldn’t like someone coming in to your workplace cursing at you and blowing smoke in your face. The dealer is not taking your money, you’re only giving it to the casino. Also that male dealer was absolutely horrible, I hope he’s retired.

    @Krusty11 100% bullshit

  9. richter85 says:

    what they don’t tell you is the odds of the Dealer getting a good hand is also the same as yours.

    If the count is “in your favor” ..its also in the Dealer’s favor.

    @PBRMafia It actually is a proven method. It has been proven to increase you chances of winning by 1-3% depending on one hand, so 2-6% on a 2 card split! It’s a very good way to win

  11. Batfoley says:

    @kannibalkook they’re using the complex vegas count, it’s one of the earliest card counting techniques meanwhile you’re using the knockout count. Personally I prefer the Knockout but the complex vegas is a little easier to learn

  12. Deadganon says:

    @PBRMafia How is figuring out odds on the next hand being big or small not a proven winning method? Over 1 hour play its not a winning method true… but if ur playing for a long time and if ur going with the higher odds and beting bigger on the bigger odds and low on the smaller odds then IN THE LONG RUN, u will come out ahead. Most ppl dont get into the long run tho and only play for a few short hours so in that sense, for most ppl u are right that its not a winning method.

    This shuffle tracking was mentioned in Ken Huston book. It originated from a team of Bulgarian players who were cleaning out the casinos and it appeared they were not betting according to the count. It makes a lot of sense but I am sure it is difficult to do. The example they gave with 20 aces coming out with the first deck or two would be a very rare anomaly. If you were ever in a game with so many aces coming out in a hand or two it would be worthwhile to try and track them in the discard tray

  14. poochpoints says:

    @justopenupthething This is true, but the advantage to the player is when he gets paid 3:2 for his blackjacks. So the 10 and ace rich deck favours the player. For instance if the dealer and the player get the same number of blackjacks, the player will net more.

  15. poochpoints says:

    There is an important point that is not mentioned when they say the deck favours the player when it is rich in tens and aces. The dealer is just as likely to get blackjack as well but the difference is the payout to the player of 3:2 is what makes the big difference when the player gets blackjack.

  16. PBRMafia says:

    Counting cards isnt a proven winning method. All your doing is figuring the odds of the next hand being big or small.

  17. THEblackjackGOD says:

    @ajyoyo777 Not true at all, when you sit at a NMS table you are forced to wait for the shuffle is you sit out a hand. also ST is more valuable than counting so, you can move the next table over, then suddenly switch tables when they are about to shuffle the previous table since its worth more EV, and still more, when you ST you drop bets right after the shuffle which is the best cover for counting cards, especially when you drop bets for like the first 15-20% fo the shoe and play multiple hands

  18. joeakapins says:

    @Krusty11 init lol

  19. kannibalkook says:

    By their logic,that adds up to an uneven count.The basic card count is 2 to 6 +1,10s and Aces -1,and 7,8,9 don’t factor in….of course there are more elaborate ones but theirs i’ve never heard of

  21. Gold13n13gg says:

    @swatz25 i assume your refering to the fact that no random machine is actually random? – even if you KNEW the logarithm it would be over 10 million hands delt before you could actually predict which card delt is which card
